For those of you who know me, I am a huge astronomy nerd. In college I was part of a campaign that got the Hubble telescope updated and saved it from being decommissioned. As you might be able to guess, I am extremely excited that the James Webb telescope is about to be launched!!!

We are in the last month before launch, and as much as I would love to go and see the launch in person, we will be watching it from my little homeschool classroom. My kids are also excited about this launch (probably because their nerdy teacher keeps going on about it) and have asked me to teach them some more about it.
I'm super excited to see that NASA is doing an excellent job of sharing information about this telescope. You can go and watch videos and learn about it's deployment on their website (its the same website as the count down, so click on the blue button if you want to check it out.
Since my original post there has been a setback and they have pushed the launch back a few days. So that is what is going on if you see that my count down is a little ahead of theirs.
