I’m so excited to share that the Sam Learns to Read series will be launching soon! To celebrate, I’ve created a FREE Sight Word Reader to help your beginning reader build confidence before the series arrives.
Learning to read takes practice, and short, engaging books are one of the best ways to help children develop fluency and recognize high-frequency words. Whether you’re a teacher, parent, or homeschool educator, this printable reader is a fun way to support early literacy.
After printing the reader, encourage your child to:
Read it independently while pointing to each word. Touching each word helps children build one-to-one word correspondence and understand that printed words match spoken words.
Read it together for extra support and confidence.
Circle the target sight word on each page to strengthen word recognition.
Practice rainbow writing to make learning letter formation fun and engaging.
Use Sam’s Special Lines to practice neat handwriting and proper letter formation.
With repeated reading and hands-on practice, children can build the confidence they need to become successful readers.
Ready to get started? Download your FREE Sight Word Reader today and join Sam on the first step of an exciting reading adventure!
